parietopontine fibers
The term parietopontine fibers represents a fiber pathway that courses through the crus cerebri to connect the parietal lobe of the cerebral cortex with the pons. It is not readily distinguished in myelin-stained histological cross-sections ( Carpenter-1983 ).
