intertrigeminal nucleus

The term intertrigeminal nucleus refers to a group of cells located between the motor nucleus of the trigeminal nerve and the principal sensory nucleus of the trigeminal nerve in the mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). Some authors regard it as part of the parvicellular part of the motor nucleus of trigeminal nerve ( Swanson-1998 ).
