The term area 34 of Brodmann refers to a subdivision of the cytoarchitecturally defined hippocampal region of the human cerebral cortex. It is located in the entorhinal area on the medial aspect of the temporal lobe. It and the area 28 of Brodmann (guenon) together constitute approximately the entorhinal area ( Brodmann-1909 ).
